Mozer Tanzen Kollektiv, Grey Mozer is a Croatian DJ and promoter based in Zagreb. Mozer plays a fusion of electronic music characterized by multi-layered, depth, high dynamics and perfect a sense of mix. In his sets, he likes to emphasize the atmosphere, emotions and occasionally throw out listeners from the comfort zone, all to create a set that has its own unique story and value. He also run the event series “tanzen” in Zagreb. His musical philosophy can also be read from the list of DJs he brought to tanzen events: Roman Flugel, Steve Bug, Patrice Baumel, Sascha Funke, Thomas Fehlmann, Rex The Dog, Martin Landsky, Tiefschwarz, Jimi Jules, Hyennah and many others. It is also hosting a new program “schmeckt das tanzen” which brings some of the most exciting upcoming names of electronic music, and has recently become a member of the new collective Gray. “When I realize during the performance that I choose heavy mixes, I know I’m on the right track. Only in those moments when the DJ comes out of his comfort zone can those magical moments occur which people remember long after the party and which inspire us all. ” Mozer’s DJ career began back in 2000. He developed his style under the musical influences of industrial techno, British hard groove and electro. He starts his own program “Force & Form”, and later “Morephonic” with DJ Sly. He played in all significant clubs in Zagreb and the region, and at the time shared a counter with artists like Ken Ishii, Pascal FEOS, Deetron, Funk D’Void, Billy Nasty, Phil Kieran and many others. He stopped active performances in 2011, and returns in 2018 with a fresh and full with a more sophisticated sound. For the music base he always takes techno in combination with house, electro, psychedelic disco, minimal… “Electronic music has never been more exciting and high quality. Constant progress in music production leads to the merging of various musical genres and it is very difficult, and unnecessary, to categorize artists like before.
